The Belgian Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce for Russia & Belarus and the Trans-Atlantic Chamber of Commerce for Russia and CIS countries had the pleasure to hold a joint webinar about "European Union – Eurasian Economic Union Liquefied natural gas Joint Ventures" on 29th September 2020.
Liquefied natural gas' popularity is growing all over the world. According to the 2019 Shell report, global demand for LNG increased by 12.5%, reaching 359 million tons. According to the forecasts of the International Energy Agency, in 2040 the demand for LNG will double by 700 million tons, which explains the growing popularity of natural gas.
On 11th of June 2020, Russian government announced measures to create JV’s with foreign partners and licensors in direction of joint LNG projects.
During our webinar, we will talk about how the EU - EAEU are ready to use these opening opportunities and about the prospects of the global LNG industry and place of EU lisensors in EAEU LNG Joint Ventures.
